Poornima, that is full Moon day pooja is conducted recently. A single or multiple sponsors are sharing the expenditure. Milk, Fruit varities, pongal sundal, chitrannas are offered to the deity peedam decorated with chittadei , garlands and special pooja is conducted Moreover from 2000AD daily annamudha is offered to Amulmiga Kamatchi Amman and to other Kaval peedams during the sunrise. For this a professional priest is appointed on monthly salary basis . for this also monthly, yearly, life sponsors is taking part .during Thi pongal and Masi sivarathiri poojas Thiruvillagu pooja is also arranged and many lady devotees are taking part in it all these are possible because of shrewd, efficient, clean transparent type of administrative committee members.

In the olden days the number of Thalaikattus were very little so it was
possible for some senior pongalees to organise themselves unanimously into a committee and looked after the kovil routine and festival work. Then Madurai K.P.Rm and parties played main role in meeting the financial maintainance of the kovil. Other thalaikattus also contributed physical, financial mental, emotional share as per their capacity. But now the over all maintenance of the Kovil is managed by unonimously elected Administrative committee.
