The responsibility as a family man and the village head refined karuppa nadar's
caliber to a new height. He lead successful family life. In addition to his business
he mnanaged his father in laws, family business. Besides that he also executed
the village judiciary activities. As a sometime he worshipped the therker disai
kal, where the pidiman was laid at the south end part of the village. More than
this yearly once he went back to his nature ie amman puram to worship the arunjunai
katha ayyanar with his wife and children . in those days there were no modern
and speedy traveling facilities like today. Travelling was only through bullock
carts. It was also not safe and secure enough against robbery . The journey would
be tedious one will take weeks together to cover more or less a 300 km of upward
and downward journey whether it gave trouble to karuppa nadar or not was doubtfull
but surely it gave concern and emptiness to karuppanadar's father in law ie megavarnam
nadar. It was a great concern for megavarnam nadar to part with his beloved daughter
and grand children even for a few weeks once in a year . so with full confidence
he requested karuppa nadar to worship ULL street arulmigu kamakshi Amman as his
family deity in addition with terker disai kal instead of going to amman puram
. he also permitted karuppanadar to install whatever kaval deivam he wanted in
ull street kamatchi amman kovil.
By nature karuppa nadar was not a negative egoistic and a non discriminating
person. This balanced out look exposed in worshipping god and godly matter also
. So, he accepted his father in laws request and began to worship ull street kamatchi
amman as his family deity,.he also gave his first prayers to the therku disai
kal during the happy occasions like marriage, house warming, opening new business
accounts ect. It continued from generation to generation.In 1973 therkudisaikal was shifted from the southern part of virudhanagar to the enhance pavement
of ull street kamatchi amman kovil.
